The paper, written by Miguel Ponce de Leon and Anwesh Adhikari from the Telecommunications Software & Systems Group (TSSG), discusses the current state of Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) models and how they will deal with the advent of new wirless access technologies for mobile devices. The emergence of a new MVNO as a Broker (MVNOB) business model which will co-create value and drive innovation in the telecom industry is discussed. The MVNOB model introduces a brokerage model and impacts the mobile communications industry structure while targeting the market in a unique way by making available the various services from MNOs under a single umbrella to the benefit of the customers.
This conference will take place in Berlin on October 14, 2010.
