You can find the source at http://sourceforge.net/projects/perimeter/files.
Please stay tuned as we will upload a final version and updated documentation within the next weeks. The PERIMETER source code will be also available on the PERIMETER website shortly.

Research into the use of multiple UMTS interfaces on Android is detailed in “UMTS Limitations in Android”.

This paper written by PERIMETER partners, Martin Dobler (FHV), Jens Schumacher (FHV), Fikret Sivrikaya (TUB), Sebastian Peters (TUB), Eileen Dillon (WIT) and Gemma Power (WIT) focuses on how a decentralized QoE layer for the mobile Internet can be achieved by describing how a QoE model is defined and QoE reports are gathered, shared and distributed in the PERIMETER project.

This workshop which discussed issues relating to the “Standardisation issues for user-centric seamless mobility” was attended by the members of the PERIMETER consortium, ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) and Orange Labs.

The workshop featured a full day of presentations and discussions on issues such as:
• PERIMETER’s standardisation efforts,
• Scalable privacy preserving storage systems for Quality of Experience,
• Personalisation and context sensitive dynamic user profiles,
• Passive methods to assess user experience,
• Decision making in user-centric networks
• Standardisation of user perception of mobile streaming applications in seamless network handover.
The workshop was sponsored by PERIMETER and organised by PERIMETER partner Blekinge Tekniska Högskola (BTH), Sweden, together with the project leader GFI, Spain/Belgium.
A full report of the outcomes of this workshop will be issued in the appropriate PERIMETER deliverable in the coming months.
